Biography

I have had a passion for all things technical since an early age. Always involved in a project of some description, it wasn't until I was fifteen that I started working at a professional level on live events. Whilst studying for my A-Levels I continued to build my experience, and began working in theatre. I took on roles with an increasing level of responsibility, which coincided with starting a degree course in 'Stage Management & Technical Theatre' at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Whilst there I began to develop my experience and freelance career by working for companies such as London Weekend Television, the Barbican Centre and the Royal Opera House.

Since then I have worked in a variety of environments including arenas, exhibition centres and many of the United Kingdom's most prestigious venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History Museum, Wembley and the National Exhibition Centre. Three years of professional work with a range of companies combined with experience on the course led to my graduating with a first class bachelor of arts with honours.

On leaving, I continued to expand my freelance career, working for and in new and exciting venues with ever more challenging roles within a production. I have been on several arena and theatre tours around the UK & Ireland, operating both lighting and sound, interpersed with other short term events & festivals. My work has also led me to be involved in several events abroad including Tenerife, Switzerland & Germany. I began managing small corporate events in London, and this field of work in particular began to develop rapidly. An initial investment in a small amount of D&B loudspeakers, microphones and contro equipment enabled the business to develop, and the size of productions I could support to grow. As demand has grown, regular further investments in equipment have been made, and I have taken on ever more challenging projects. The majority of my work now is corporate entertainment, conferences, product launches and musical concerts, festivals & events. I look forward to developing the company further, meeting & providing for new clients and events, whilst continuing to provide a technically outstanding, efficient, competitive and reliable service.
