Our holiday cottage in France is in the village of Virargues, near the medieval market town of Murat in the heart of the Volcanic National Park. It offers spacious holiday accommodation for up to 22 people and is perfect for French walking holidays and cycling holidays in France.

With spectacular scenery from your windows and on the doorstep of your holiday cottage there are plentiful opportunities for walking & mountain biking. Other nearby activities include horse-riding, canoeing, indoor and outdoor swimming, exploring the medieval town of Murat and nearby chateaux, fishing, climbing, mini golf, boating and aerial ropes courses.

The ski resort of Le Lioran is the largest in the Massif Central and is just 15 minutes drive from Virargues. The family-friendly area is ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers. For the non skier, ice skating, dog sledding and walking are also available.
